Palestinian They have always lived there The Israelis have taken their land The Israelis have forced them out of their homes Palestinians are not allowed to travel The Palestinians human rights are being violated Palestinians can only use terrorism because they do not have a military force Israelis attack their citizens using the military The Israelis killed the Hamas spiritual leader Israel is illegally occupying their land Israeli’s blockade restricted travel and flattened maufacturing, construction and much of the public service industry The unemployment rate of Palestinians is growing. The Palestinian economy is un-existant due to the Israeli opression.

Israelis After Diaspora, the Jews were forced out of their home lands The Jews believe the land is rightfully theirs and was granted to them by god They only use military force to defend themselves They won the Gaza Strip was won during the Six Day War Because of the Holocaust, the Jews want to return to their holy land. Jews owned the land first because the Jewish State, Judae was incorporated into the Roman province of Palestine Britain occupied the region at the end of the war in 1918 and was assigned as the mandatory power by the Leauge of Nations on April 25, Britain gave this land to the Jews.

Palestinian Solution A solution beneficial to the Palestinians would be for the Israelis to leave their land. The Palestinians would gain back all the human rights that were previous violated. The Israelis would stop colonizing their land and discontinue military force. If the Israelis complied, then the Palestinians would stop using terrorist attacks.

Israeli Solution The Israelis would continue colonizing the land and continue with the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people. The Israelis would also use their military force to aid in “defending” themselves and forced the Palestinians off land that is rightfully theirs.

Compromise A compromise between the Israelis and Palestinians would be for the two nations to agree to share Palestine and use the land to grow crops and export goods. This would benefit both nations. In return for this ceasefire, terrorism will stop and the Israelis will not violate the Palestinians human rights. Both nations should spread propaganda about the other country in school, to increase positive relations.

Six Day War On June 5 th 1967, the Israelis fought the Arab nations of Egypt, Jordan, and Syria using armed forces. Israel took the Gaza Strip by force, and now occupies the land.

Hamas Hamas was founded to fight against the Israelis occupation by Muslim Borther hood members. Hamas is an acronym for the Islamic Resistance Movement and acts as an intafada.

The U.N. Partition Plan The United Nations separated Palestine into two nations- the Arab Nation and Jew Nation. Jerusalem became the U.N. headquarters.
