European Groupings for Territorial Cooperation and Croatia (EGTC)

European Groupings for Territorial cooperation  EGTC established with EC regulation 1028/2006 and it is part of the EU Acquis  Regulation proposal from 6th of October 2011, Article 1 directs EGTC towards territorial cooperation : „The objective of an EGTC shall be to facilitate and promote territorial cooperation, including one or more of cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation, between its members as set out in Article 3(1), with the aim of strengthening economic, social and territorial cohesion.”
