Order of importance This pattern begins with the most important items and ends with the least important Example: from the boss about things to be done in the office

Chronological (sequential) Order The order in which events happen Example: writing the biography of a person

Proposition- support An idea is presented (proposed) and then supported Ex: an idea to build a new school An idea to join the military An idea to start a new club

Cause- effect presents reasons (causes) and implications (effects) of a topic Example: Reckless driving causes accidents
