1 Intelligent Lighting Solutions for Professionals.

APPLICATION AREAS INCLUDES 1.Lighting control (switching; dimming; “mood lighting”) 2. Shading control (shutters; blinds) 3. Heating, ventilation, air-conditioning (individual room temperature control; control of radiators, thermal units, boilers, coolers, fans, …) 4. Access & security (presence detection; burglary and fire detection and alarm; presence simulation; panic switch) 5. Energy management (consumption metering; load shedding; …). 6.Comfort functions and intelligent control across all applications (central user control; combined scenario’s; intelligent process control; …) 7. Remote control and remote maintenance (e.g. via phone or Internet) 8. Interfacing to complementary or peripheral systems (white goods; supervision consoles; facility management; dedicated security systems; audio; multimedia; services; …)

3 Switching light Switching light & HVAC (heating/ventilation/air-conditioning) Controlling light Modern bus systems (DALI, KNX) Wireless system DIM COM2 COM1AP COM1 Suitable connection options for different situations 3 Occupancy & Presence Sensors For Lighting Control Professionals.

4 Extremely high-resolution sensor systems detect the slightest movements. Presence range at a mounting height of 2.8 m Steinel Presence Control PRO IR QUATTRO HDGood presence detector with 3 pyro sensors 4800 switching zones 1300 switching zones

The Control PRO System presence detectors equipped with the KNX interface are capable of performing the following functions: Presence detection Controlling lighting with brightness control Controlling HVA

Reach: mts. adjustable in a square detection pattern to eliminate any blind or undetected areas. The fine / small motion area is 8x8 mts. (64 sq.-mts.) The sensor has 2 channels, one for the lighting which operates in response to the ambient lux and presence of people. The second channel operates the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in relation to presence only. Detection zone Technical Highlights

7 Zones can be clearly planned Detection without overlapping and without gaps Detection reliably planned for every point in the room No detection in passageways Presence zone is the last to be limited Advantages of a mechanically scalable square detection zone Ideal for Open Plan Office Areas The world is round but rooms aren‘t

KNX mains connection: 24V via KNX bus voltage Settings: ETS, remote control, bus Lighting outputs HVAC output Presence output Light-level output Scenario outputs Salient Features

Lux setting facilityLux level with Twilight setting can be done through a hand-held remote control. There are 6 typical room situations to choose from. Lighting Channel Output No. 1 Automatic time adjustment - The sensor analyzes the movement and automatically adjusts the time delay for the user. HVAC Channel Output No. 2 0 sec minutes, Automatic time adjustment - switch 'OFF' delay. The room surveillance function allows the user to set a delay time before starting the HVAC loads. This feature automatically adjusts the time for the starter based on the movement pattern Presence output: switch-ON delay (with min. number of movements) send presence cyclically switch-ON delay and stay-ON time are changeable by bus disable and enable output by bus Light level output: min. light-level change send measured level cyclically Scenario outputs: scene control of 4 scene

Applications Conference rooms, Training Halls and Meeting rooms, Class Rooms, Staff Rooms, Office Cabins
