Backpack and Audible Alarm Daily Inspection: 1. Check hoses / backstrap for wear. 2. Cylinder pressure above 4050 psi. 3. Open bottle, listen for audi alarm. 4. Compare bottle gauge with harness gauge +/- 5%. 5. Open emergency bypass. 6. Close cylinder valve. No more than 100 psi drop. 7. Ensure PASS activates after 15 seconds. 8. Don mask and breath down residual pressure.

Air Cylinder RefillTelesqurt 1. Extend / attach hose to Telesqurt bottle. 2. Close bleeder and open cylinder valve. 3. Adjust regulator at hose reel to maximum 2216 psi. 4. Open fill valve slowly at end of fill hose. 5. Air cylinder is full when you can no longer hear air exchange. 6. Close all valves. Bleed off air in hose. 7. Adjust regulator to 0 psi to avoid possible hazard.

Sta. 31 Compressor (not a cascade) Cascade bottle valves should remain open at all times. (Four black knobs-upper right) Ensure regulator is set to 4500 psi. (Big silver knob – middle upper) Open bottle valves slowly to avoid “hot fill”. (Three black knobs - above pressure gauges.) If compressor does not turn on at 5000 psi, check to ensure emergency shutoff button is not pushed in. If CO alarm goes off, open apparatus bay doors to allow fresh air in and clear the alarm.
