What changes? – Other Allowances + Installation!  Family Allowance + 20%  Child Allowance + 30%  Infant Allowance New! 200 CHF/child < 3 years  Installation For newly recruited staff & fellows, only Distance criterion: 70 km (old: 20 km) Long distance bonus: + ½ basic salary if home station > 1000 km from CERN

What changes? – Leave!  Paternity Leave + 3 days  Parental Leave New! Unpaid, up to 3 months  Adoption Leave 15 weeks if child < 12 years  Maternity Leave Delayed start. + 3 weeks in special cases  Child Care Leave For closed relatives, too. + 5 days for single parents  Long Term Care Leave New! Unpaid, up to 3 months

What changes? – Family!  Same Sex marriages same rights as opposite sex marriages (except parternity leave)  Partnerships Health insurance

What changes? – School Fees!  Applicable to newly recruited staff & fellows, only.  No reimbursements of meals, local transport or language tuition Staff CategoryPrimary & Secondary eductionPost secondary/higher education Career Paths A - B + all staff with residence class F (No International Indemnity) Reimbursement of registration fees in virtue of the financial status Education in local school: reimbursement of 75% up to the lower ceiling Education in member state: reimbursement of 75% up to the higher ceiling, incl. lump sum for accomodation Staff with residence class G or H (International Indemnity) in Career Paths C – G Education in local school: reimbursement of 75% up to the lower ceiling Education in MoP's home country: reimbursement of 75% up to the higher ceiling, incl. lump sum for accomodation Language tuition: not part of the school fees! for french courses and the child's mother tongue for a limited period reimbursement of 75% and within a fixed ceiling
