Spanish 3 Honors is an academically challenging and rigorous course, which will further develop the domains of language learning (reading, writing, speaking, and listening). Through this course, students will be able to communicate using sophisticated and extensive vocabulary and structures, with a significant degree of accuracy. There is also an emphasis on proficiency and the ability to communicate in spontaneous, real-life, authentic situations.

Situaciones textbook and workbook Half of the textbook/workbook is covered, the other half is covered in 4 Honors. Units 1-7 are covered. There is not a mid-term exam. There will be a spontaneous essay given at midpoint, and another at the end of the course. The essays are part of the Final Exam, which is 20% of the grade for the course, as per district guidelines. Each marking period is worth 40%. The course is weighted.25.
