People in first class were very rich. First class were allowed to do a lot of things. They could go to the swimming pool, squash court and the gymnasium. They could also go to the Turkish bath. They had massive rooms and there were electric fires in them. A lot of people in first class looked down at third class people and if one of the third class looked at them they would be insulted.

People in second class were people like teachers and lawyers. They could do a few things like shuffleboard and other games. They had good rooms but they were not as good as first class rooms. They were not allowed to go to the places where the first class were.

People in third class didn’t have much money so they could just scrape together enough money to get a third class ticket. They had nothing very fun to do in third class. In the day they could go to the poop deck or stay in their cabins. They could not mix with first or second class people. They had cabins with bunk beds instead of normal beds.
