Standards Education Speakers Bureau 2013 Update for SEC: February 2013 Susan Tatiner and Rona Gertz
SESB Speaking Engagement Update Due to a reduction in the funds allocated to the Speakers Bureau Program ($9K total available through belt-tightening), changes will be made to the program. Revised goal for 2013 will be 4 speaking engagements. No honoraria will be awarded. “Alternating current” mode for SESB: In addition to filling requests for engagements for existing opportunities … We will try to create opportunities by offering one of our speakers in a location where he or she will already be. This will be less costly. 2
