1 The Global Challenge at Ryerson University
Information Session

2 What is The Global Challenge?
Opportunity to learn more about a social or environmental issue you care about and present your findings to the world. You will map the problem – research what is causing it, what solutions have been tried, who is already working in this space, and where there are gaps – and then create a visual map or chart. Not a traditional business plan competition! It is run by the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, with universities from five continents each running their own Challenge. You will compete first at Ryerson University with local teams, then nationally at the Canadian Final in Calgary, and then at the Global Challenge Final event in Oxford, UK.
