VIETNAM MANY AMERICANS WERE UPSET ABOUT THE U.S. INVOLVEMENT IN THE WAR. AS A WAY TO INFORM AND EXPRESS OPINION, MUSICIANS WROTE SONGS ABOUT EVENTS AND THEIR FEELINGS OF WHAT WAS GOING ON IN THE COUNTRY.

A quick story before our last song..

An estimated 2,000 people gathered along with 77 National Guard troops who were called in because of a fear of the crowd becoming violent.

The event got national attention

What did we learn from this lesson? Not just facts.. What is the big picture?? Expression through art is an excellent way to get your message out to people. Don’t just assume that everyone “in charge” is always necessarily right. Just be sure to do it intelligently & in a respectful and peaceful manner.
