Agenda Unit 5 Grading Unit 6 Review Unit 7 Introduction Unit 7 Assignments Questions?

Unit 5 Grading Unit 5 Grading is complete and in the grade book Let’s talk about some of the most common errors that I found in grading Unit 5 Most of you did an excellent job on both basic Excel assignments in Units A and B. The most common mistake was some of you “hard coded” and did not include any formulas in the assignments.

Medical Supply Inventory Let’s look at Medical Supply Inventory. On this exercise, you determined the sale price for each item. Question: When you determined the Sale Price, was it per item or per box?

Medical Supply Inventory Next, let’s look at Medical Supply Inventory. On this exercise, you determined the cost you would see the medical supplies to customers. Question: When you determined the Sale Price, was it per item or per box?

Medical Supply Inventory Conditional Formatting, and icon set: –With conditional formatting you set a formula to display certain formatting options when a condition is met in the worksheet. –Question: What did the conditional formatting on the Monolet Lancets and Airway-Large items indicate?

Number of items on hand is less than 20.

Questions about Grading If you have any questions about the grading, please send me an , or give me a call on my cell phone. All in all, everyone did a great job on these assignments. Files looked good, and I am really happy with the formulas that I found.

Final Project- Part 2 All of you should have reviewed the instructions in Unit 7 and viewed the video in DocShare by now. Everything in this project must fit on one page. Carefully pick your budgeted items for your fair. Try to narrow down each category to fit your theme. If you do not know how to do as budget, call me. Remember do not copy the example in the video. Use it as an guide for your project. You are going to use Part- 1 information, so if have not corrected it or created it by now, you can not complete Part- 2. If there is anything you do not understand in this project please contact me. Make sure you are very familiar with “conditional formatting”.

Second for showing the difference between the actual spent amount and budget amount where the amount in the chart will change. Do not “hard code”. You must include formulas for both rows and columns. The datasheet must include conditional formatting, the use of icon sets. Do not use data bars.
