Chimamanda Adichie is a Nigerian novelist, nonfiction writer and short story writer, born on September 15 th 1977.She was born in the city of Enugu and grew up as the fifth child out of six children in an Igbo family. She studied medicine and pharmacy in The University of Nigeria for a year and a half. Then when she was 19 she went America to study communications and political science in Drexel University. In 2003 she earned a masters degree in Creative Writing at Johns Hopkins University. In 2008 she got a master of arts degree in African studies at Yale University. Early Life
