The Language of Composition The Heroes of 2001 Stamp depicts a photograph taken at Ground Zero after the September 11th terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City. Analyze the photograph’s argument, and explain why it IS or IS NOT an effective choice for a stamp for the U.S Postal Service

Assignment Find a visual text- a political cartoon, advertisement, photograph, etc – that supports or enhances the argument you have been developing. Write a 1-2 paragraphs explaining how the visual text makes its own argument.

Steps to Complete Assignment 1) Explain why the stamp IS or IS NOT an effective choice for a stamp for the U.S Postal Service ( paragraph one) 2) Find a visual text- a political cartoon, advertisement, photograph, etc – that supports or enhances the argument you have been developing. 3) In your 2nd paragraph explain how your image relates to your argument about the stamp. Keep in mind all the visual analysis questions we have been using in class. 4) Attach your image to your assignment and bring in to class.

Example of Image Needed image From: tyglobalist.org This is my choice for a photo. It relate to me being in agreement with the US Postal Service for using the Heroes of 2001 stamp. It shows elements of our country, friendship, and evokes emotion
