56 th NASBLA Annual Conference September 13-16, 2015 | Wichita, Kansas ERAC-2015-C2 (carryover charge) Human Factors: Applying Best Practices for Gathering/Examining Data Charge Leader: Dan Maxim Glenn Moates Product “Human Performance Investigation in Recreational Boating Accidents: Best Practices for Gathering and Examining Human Factors Data” was released October 2014 In 2015, three states were identified as pilots to use the guidance and supplemental form to collect the human factors data on fatalities Tennessee – piloted in 2015 and continuing its use through 2015 boating season; will issue a brief in the fall Florida, Oregon – have agreed to participate in pilot; terms of participation being developed 2016 STATUS: Continuing as ERAC-2016-C2
