THE HUMAN BODY Digestive System By Nick Montan

Parts of the Digestive System Some parts of the digestive system are the stomach, liver, rectum, gall bladder. The main part of the system are the intestines, especially the small intestine.

Parts of the Digestive System liver stomach pancreas gall bladder large intestine small intestine rectum

What does it do? The digestive system is simple learn. Once you put the food into your mouth, the salivary glands and teeth help break it down so it can go down your esophagus and into your stomach. The gastric juices in your stomach break it down even more and some of the food goes to the liver for nutrients in the blood. Most of the food goes in the intestines. The waste is then stored in the rectum.
