Objective National Statistical Office 12  To obtain information of the population having and using by type of ICT devices such as computer, internet and mobile phone  To obtain other information of the population based on theirs activities including time and frequency of using,the reason use and non used.  To obtain information of households having and using by type of personal computer (PC), Notebook, PDA (personal digital assistants), fix telephone, fax and internet connection. Scope and Coverage National Statistical Office 13 - Population 6 years and over of sample households, in every provinces of whole kingdom. - Households covered in the survey are private households and special households (which include persons living in group, or in quarters within the compound of a factory or in a dormitory). Methodology National Statistical Office 15 - A Stratified Two - Stage Sampling was adopted from the survey. - Provinces were constituted strata. There were altogether 76 Strata -The primary sampling units were blocks for municipal areas, villages. The total sample blocks/villages were 5,796 from 109,966 blocks/villages. - The secondary sampling were private households/ persons in the special households respectively. The total sample households were 79,560 households National Statistical Office

National Statistical Office 16  The sample selection of blocks/villages was performed by using samples of blocks and villages as same as LFS The period of survey also was held during 3 months for proposing data on provincial level.  ICT information was obtained through interviewing method of head or member of households by experienced enumerators. Usefulness National Statistical Office 17 -To learn more about the status of having and using of the population and households concerning on the ICT devices and theirs activities -To be able to compare ICT indicators among other countries on measuring the advances of ICT country -To obtain more the ICT information for monitoring the government policy and planning and enhancing more knowledge on ICT of population.
