Typesetting This refers to setting of the layout of the typed page which makes reading easier. It also involves use of the correct fonts Kerning- Space between individual letters Leading-space between lines Number of characters/line Heading styles Graphic designers are employed to do this job

Transmitting Completed pages There are two methods of doing this: The page is printed and burned onto light-sensitive film which is transfered to the printing plant using fax -Transmitted using a WAN -Burned on to CDs -Via satellite systems

Computerised plate making -Images from negatives are transferred to printing plates -Ultraviolet light is allowed to pass through the film negatives to expose the printing plate -The light sensitive coating on Aluminum react to develop the image
