People at work

People at work 1 1. First look through all 10 of the pictures, make sure you know what each person's occupation is. 2. You are going to time how long it takes another student to tell you what each person's job is. 3. You will need a stopwatch (use your mobile phone). 4. Tell the participant that you want them to name the occupation of the person in each picture. Show them the pictures in quick succession, as soon as they have told you what one person's job is, show them the next picture. 5. You do not need to write down their responses, or correct them if they are wrong.YOU JUST HAVE TO TIME HOW LONG IT TAKES THEM TO NAME ALL OF THE OCCUPATIONS.

STOP YOUR TIMER RECORD THE TIME

People at work 2 Repeat the procedure with the second set of photos. Reset your stopwatch and record how long it takes the participant to name the occupations.

STOP YOUR STOPWATCH, RECORD THE TIME.
