What treasures can we find in our country?

Street Rhymes! Come to Washington, D.C.! It’s full of fun and history. The Capitol with its giant dome, The house where the President makes his home, A statue of Lincoln on the mall, And the Washington Monument standing tall.

How can a story be a treasure?

This week we will read about treasures in Washington, D.C., our country’s capitol. We will learn about documents kept in a building in Washinton, D. C.

We are going to sing about tourists and treasures.

Listen for the Amazing Words: symbol, nation, and tourist.

The song says that our flag is the symbol of our country.
