However, it is one of the ordinances of Jesus Christ.  It was practiced by the early church (Acts 8:12) But when they believed Philip as he preached the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.  This is an entire, complete, unconditional and eternal dedication to God.  This is the starting point of any real service to God.  In order that one’s gifts and ministries may manifest in one’s life and in the body of Christ. (v.28)  Future looking - waiting with great expectation the coming of the Lord. Five Foundational Experiences
