The Three Branches of Government By Jaxon and Hope

There are two leaders of congress The vice president leads the senate And the speaker leads the house of representatives They also have to print coins and collect taxes The capital is famous for it’s Iron Dome

The president leads the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps. In 1787 Leaders of the states gathered to write the constitution-a set of principals told how the new nation would be governed. The Leaders of the states wanted a strong, fair, and nice government. They also wanted to protect individual freedoms.

The Legislative Branch George Washington had to say the “Bill of Rights” would become a part of the U.S. Constitution.” John Adams has to say “Alien and sedition acts past by congress”. There are 100 senators two from each state.

Executive Branch The constitution granted specific powers to the president to run our country. However it did not detail the actual departments that the president would need. Article II of the constitution created the position of the vice president. However it did not clearly define the job.

Executive Branch The president appoints a cabinet. Leaders and senators approve them. The president has the final verdict that is reached. Presidents support the law.

The Judicial Branch The Judicial Branch oversees the court system of the U.S. court passes. The Judicial Branch explains the meaning of the constitution and laws passed by congress. The Supreme court is the head of The Judicial Branch unlike a criminal court, the supreme court rules whether something is constitutional. Or unconstitutional whether or not it is permitted under the constitution.
