Animal abuse is a behavior people do that’s harmful to animals. When people abuse animals the animals have no food, water, shelter, and vet care. Abused animals are being tortured and neglected. This dog is living outside year long on a farm. That is abuse.

71 % of pet owners have abused their animals ( mostly dogs). People take in their pets to a shelter after they have been abused and neglected. 68% of people seeing this happen have reported it, others have not. Between 25% and 40% of animals were not able to escape being abused, and did not survive. 70% of animal abusers have records of other crimes. This pit bull was not in a shelter 95% of his life.

Abusers do what they do because it makes them feel powerful. Without abusing animals these people are powerless. Or they want ravage on someone who loves animals. Some people abuse them to copy what they have seen or have been done to an animal. This kola has been traveling around the world in a purse when it should be in nature.

You can have your pets vaccinated for rabies, and get a license for your pet with the town or city on it. Don’t leave pets with abuser. Also, get a temporary place for pet if ever needed like a vet, family member, trusted friend, or near by animal shelter. Dog was tied up like this for so long when someone found him and let him go he couldn’t move his neck or walk.

My role model is Rescue Ink. Rescue Ink is a group of eight tough guys with tattoos and bulging muscles that won’t hurt anyone or anything. They rescue animals and people from abuse and neglect. Rescue Ink never lets abusers get away with what they did. Usually when Rescue Ink is done with the case they help whoever is needed back to heath and the abuser goes to jail or is taught the right thing to do. Rescue Ink came to my school and they taught us how harmful some people can be. They also have a TV show Rescue Ink Unleashed on Discovery channel.
