Playing games in Japan  Some of Japan’s games are baseball, soccer, tennis, basketball, gymnastics, volleyball, golf, judo, kendo, and sumo wrestling.

Brainiest subjects Their subjects are music, art, math, reading, social studies, and Japanese language. Their subjects are music, art, math, reading, social studies, and Japanese language.

Cool grades  They have grades from first to ninth.  They take exams to enter high schools and continue on to college.  Preschoolers may attend cram school.

Awesome holidays  Some awesome holidays are festivals, parades, colorful kites, special costumes, dancing,and fun, but New Years is the biggest and brightest event.

Ways to get to school  WALK to school, DON'T take buses, parents don’t take or pick-up their kids. Usually kids walk as a group. Little children wear the same equipment so people see where they are. Older children go with parents on crowded buses or trains.

Chores ► The children have teams. The teams clean the schoolyard,classroom,and halls. The teams also help serve lunch.

Uniforms  They have STRICT rules. They have to follow the rules.

Food They eat rice, onigiri(rice balls wrapped in seeweed), takoyaki(octopous,onion,fish flakes, and seaweed.
