Overview Ensures complementarily of ARF’s work ARF Statement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response General Guidelines on Disaster Relief Cooperation Strategic Guidance for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (Draft) To support existing efforts and promote the goals of the ASEAN Regional Programme on Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Management

Overview (cont.) Assists in the coordination of regional and/or sub-regional capacity building exercises and training Maintains and builds on ARF’s efforts concrete, capacity-building, technical support and information exchange; Complements existing initiatives; and Strengthen existing networks.
