 Actively monitor, support, and encourage methods and practices designed to demonstrate the value of transportation research  Facilitate dissemination and exchange of information and experiences among RAC members  Serve as advocates of methods and practices that identify, market, maximize and convey the values of research to others

 Seeking Membership Assistance for Working Groups ◦ Real world experience with putting together marketing materials for HVR supplemental brochure and/or determining research performance measure..  Seeking a Task Force Secretary ◦ Good way to get involved and understand what is going on task force  Evaluate RPM replacement tool or benefit quantification tools/methodologies

 Minimum Criteria ◦ Submit any research project completed by March 31 having significant value or benefit to the department. ◦ Research projects that are still in-progress or previously submitted should not be submitted. ◦ Projects submitted should have been completed within the last five years. ◦ Completed research that is state sponsored and at least partially funded by the department ◦ States may combine multiple related or phased projects into a single entry, provided that at least one of the projects fits qualifications 1, 2 and 3 above. HVR Solicitation Mid- Jan. DOT’s enter HVR projects into RPM by March 31 Region Chairs submit top 4 projects by May 15 Goal: Each state submits at least one HVR project
