Intel ISEF Educator Academy Intel ® Education Programs High Level Goals –Vision: –Empower students and teachers to feed academia and industry future needs, with quality workforce productive and committed citizens, to impact national economy and growth. –Long term goals: –To double the percentage of students that graduates major in both science and math by –Short term goals: –Engage MOE, new minister with the goal (that is critical to the economy, academy etc) –Establish cross sectors coalition to collaborate towards common goal –Build plan to influence on teachers professionalism and quantity –Increase # of students that are exposed to the advantages of choosing STEM, with focus on girls and minorities –Build data base and assessment infrastructure 3

Intel ISEF Educator Academy Intel ® Education Programs 4 Objectives –Student graduates major in both science and math double in 5 years. –Girls graduates major in both science and math triple in 5 years. –Double 10 th grade students choosing science and math in 2 years. –Engage coalition partner in the Arab Sector by –Increase the number of qualified professional teachers of science and math to meet the demand. –Provide training to regional leadership team teachers within 2 years. –Increase to 30 corporates and NGOs participating in the coalition within 2 years. –MOE commit to the goal by allocating budget by –Build data base and assessment plan by 2013.
