Look at long-term (3-5 years) and short-term goals (1-2 years) –Long term goals –Stimulate interest in science courses and scientific research and inquiry in K-12 –Develop current STEM curriculum –Develop a policy to encourage science fairs in K-12 –Develop a platform for teacher training –Short term goals –Inform all middle and high schools about TUBITAK’s science fair support programs –Make at least one teacher responsible from each middle and high school as a science fair facilitator –Make more documents and guidelines available for teachers and students who want to participate in the national science fair 2
