805 MHz Modular Cavity Modular cavity design and fabrication –New RF cavity to replace the damaged 805-MHz LBNL pillbox cavity for normal conducting RF experiments at the MTA –New waveguide coupler that fits inside the MTA solenoid Cavity fabrication uses the state-of-art of techniques developed at SLAC RF breakdown studies in external magnetic field Modular design for testing of different materials (beryllium, copper), surface finish and processing (EP, brite- dip, etc..) end-plates Different cavity lengths (time transit factor) March 5-6, 2013 Derun Li | DOE Mini-Review of MAP (FNAL, March 5-6, 2013)2 MTA Solenoid Cavity support rail Modular cavity complex
