Note: some aims are from another age such as 6 or 7 years old, while we made lessons for the age such as 8 to 9. This is because we make lessons to teach children English and to use CLIL. English : Core target 14:  The pupils learn (how) to ask or give English information about easy subjects and they develop an attitude in which they dare to express themselves in this language. Aims:  The children develop a positive attitude towards speaking of English  (The children consolidate the fluency and promote of language production or speech emergence (beginning fluency where children use (longer) sentences. They could answer in a conversation. )  Core target 15:  The pupils learn the orthography of some simple words about ordinary topics.  Some children are curious about the notation of English words and are going to experiment.  There can be a start with writing of English words which are important in the perception of these ages ( 8-9 years old), such by searching for them and copy.  Source:

Mathematics: Core target 23:  The pupils learn to use math conceptions (in English). Aims:  Basic operations:  Count up, subtract and differences (such as together, in total, include, off it, diferrence between.... and..., add until, deficiency). Orientation on yourself and the world  nature and technology: Core target 40:  The pupils learn to distinguish and mention common plants and animals in their own environment and how they function in their environment. Aim:  (parts of) plants and animals have different characteristics like form, colour, smell.

 Make a wordcloud  activate foreknowledge  Peppa pig movie, give a ‘watch question’  After: which colours did they remember?  Colour game (like the chair game)

 Rainbow story in the morning  Philosophical conversation: everybody has a different ‘colour’  Activity with the balloon during break time

 Peppa Pig movie 2 and talk about it  Math lesson: ‘mathfish’

 Biology lesson

 Peppa pig movie from day 1 again  Flags  Scientific experiment

 Turkish  German  Latvia  Greece  The Netherlands
