R-Value? Refers to the efficiency of the insulation of a house Ratio of the temperature difference across an insulator and the heat flux.

Fiberglass/Mineral Wool Fiberglass and mineral wool have the same uses and forms as insulation products. Mineral wool is manufactured similarly to fiberglass, with molten rock instead of glass, and also comes in batts or rolled blankets, or loose-fill. wool R-value is slightly higher than that of common fiberglass:

Cellulose 4 major types of cellulose products The thermal performance of loose filled cellulose compares favorably to other types of insulation Cellulose is very good at fitting around items in walls like pipes and wiring leaving few air pockets that can reduce the overall efficiency of the wall

Styrofoam Polyurethane Foam is experiencing a growing popularity, due to its effectiveness -offer a high insulating performance and are largely used in: flat ceilings, framed walls, pitched roof.
