Appearance A arctic foxes appearance is very unique. An arctic fox is 17 pounds. They are 18 to 27 inches. The color of an arctic fox is white. They have thick fur. When the white arctic fox is a baby it has brown fur. Thick fur keeps them warm. Arctic fox use their tails as blankets to sleep. An arctic fox is a special fox.

Habitat Polar animals habitats are usually found in the coldest parts of the world. Arctic foxes live in the freezing arctic. There dens are snowy. Arctic foxes have dens and in side the dens it is cold. These polar animals dig dens. Arctic foxes dig dens in the summer and arctic foxes dig dens with their paws. Arctic foxes dig dens in a mound. They have tunnels in the tunnels there are rooms and holes that arctic foxes can use to go in and out. The arctic foxes home helps them survive in the freezing arctic. That is all about a arctic foxes habitats.

LIFE CYCLE The life cycle of an arctic fox is interesting. The arctic fox’s babies are called kits and pups. A male arctic fox is called a dog fox. The baby arctic fox has brown fur and it is really small. It lives about six to twelve years in the wild. The arctic fox is 43 inches and cm. It weighs up to 10 pounds. My polar animal life cycle is amazing because it helps it survive.

Diet  The arctic fox has a special polar diet. An arctic fox is a carnivore. They eat fish and birds. An arctic foxes predators are polar bears and wolfs. They eat little animals. Arctic foxes eat little robins and they eat fresh fish. An arctic foxes does not eat big animals. They are good at caching fish and birds. That is all about arctic foxes diet.

Fun Facts  Arctic foxes fur is white in the winter and brown in the summer.  Arctic foxes use their tails as blankets when they are sleeping.  Arctic foxes have fur on the bottoms of their paws.
