 Current Events By: Sullivan and Julia

The 5 W’s  Who- The pope and the homeless.  What- The Pope is donating sleeping bags to the homeless.  Where- Vatican City.  When- 12/19/14 (Which is the Pope’s birthday).  Why- This happened to help the homeless

3 Big Details  The Pope donated 400 sleeping bags to the homeless.  Swiss Guards went out to the city, and stopped wherever homeless people were, and gave them sleeping bags.  On his birthday last year, the Pope invited 4 homeless people to have breakfast and mass with him.

Our Thoughts We both think this is a very good thing to do because the homeless don’t have much money at all, and they can’t buy things to survive.

Other Persons Thoughts Other people could think that giving the sleeping bags to the homeless is a bad idea because the other people might think that they should get free stuff too.
