Research Paper Driving Question What are some beliefs of Jehovah’s Witnesses and why do they offer free Bible studies?

Thesis Statement “A person’s understanding of Jehovah’s Witnesses can be enhanced by learning about some of the Bible truths believed by Jehovah’s Witnesses. Jehovah Witnesses offer free home Bible courses to show people these basic Bible truths.”

Interesting Facts I learned more about the history of Jehovah’s Witnesses. It also helped me see how useful the Bible is. 2 Timothy 3:16

My Product I demonstrated the Bible ministry of Jehovah’s Witnesses I took pictures of myself going door to door placing Bible magazines. I talked to a teenager about God’s purpose for the earth. I showed a person from the Bible, God’s Purpose for the earth.

Product continued How? When? When I engaged in the Bible ministry, I used the Bible and placed Bible magazines called Watch Tower and Awake. When we can not reach people at home we write short letters.

Product continued The teenager asked me questions about God’s Purpose for the earth and the suffering in this world. (Genesis 1:28) I used the Bible and other Bible based books to help her understand what was God’s purpose for humans.

My Mentor My mentor’s name is Nancy Weeks She is a substitute teacher at New Bern High School. Because of her part time job, this allows her to devote more time to talking to people about the Bible.

Connection between Paper and Product Jesus talked about God’s Kingdom. Jesus went to people. (Matthew 9:35-36) Jehovah’s Witnesses do the same.

Successes Challenges Staying ahead on my paper. Help from parents, teacher and mentor. Graduation class time Wikispaces were helpful Changed my topic. Did not use my time wisely. Putting my product together.

Future Plans I will continue to volunteer my time to help people understand the Bible. In years to come, I would not mind moving to a different location where there is a need for more Bible teachers.
