THE PROBLEM Most of our waste is deposited in landfills. As you can see, landfills are running out of space. Landfills are causing pollution and illnesses.

THE SOLUTION As you can imagine a clever solution is to reduce waste in the first place... HOW?

THE 3 R’s: REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE Communities are beginning to see the value in reducing waste. o R EDUCE means use less. o R EUSE means use again. o R ECYCLE means make something new form something old.

WHY RECYCLE? Because: It saves money! It saves landfill space! And it protects our environment!
