Acid rain forms when we burn fossil fuels. It is made from gases and bits of dust combining with water droplets in the air.

7 Smog is formed when water vapor, other gases, and dust combine and hang in the air. Smog makes the air dangerous and hard to breath.

12 Soil conservation are methods farmers use to slow erosion to keep soil in place to support plants.

13 There are many ways to conserve water. Can you list some?

14 Three ways to conserve resources are called the 3 Rs: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

15 To reduce means to use less of something.

16 To reuse means to use something over again.

17 To recycle means to make new products from old materials.
