IMPLEMENTED ACTIVITIES Collection of data and studies (present infrastructure, natural beauties, local products, history, tradition, economy, etc) for the area of Prespes Participation at two local meetings at Prespes area with the local enterprises and stakeholders, organized by CTP (1/2 and 25/4)

IMPLEMENTED ACTIVITIES Creation in cooperation with CTP and ANFLO of three questionnaire types: for visitors (31 open and close type questions) for residents (24 open and close type questions) for enterprises and stakeholders regarding the environment protection measures (52 open and close type questions)

ONGOING - PLANNED ACTIVITIES Elaboration of the collected questionnaires in cooperation with CTP Determination of the 10 rules for sustainable tourism for the area of Prespes Research of acceptance and implementation of the 10 rules at Prespes (QUESTIONNAIRE TYPE? FOCUS GROUP?)

ONGOING - PLANNED ACTIVITIES Collection of international examples of organized camps Collection of development studies concerning the creation of camps at the area of Prespes Determination of an area for creating a camp and the possible activities connected with the economy and special characteristics of Prespes

ONGOING - PLANNED ACTIVITIES Local meeting in collaboration with CTP for sensitizing and make understandable the need for environmental friendly development Participation at the local festival that will take place at Prespes

EXPECTED PROJECT RESULTS Report of results from the collected questionnaires for the acceptance of the 10 rules for sustainable tourism Publication and distribution of the 10 rules for sustainable tourism in post card form Handbook with a proposal for creating a camp in Prespes (propose area and activities)

WANTED RESULTS FOR THE AREA Make conscious that environment protection – sustainable tourism development and economic growth of the area are close related. To make a start: “everything depends if you begin something and not if that beginning is perfect”
