Current Problem The BRVFD & RS does not have adequate facilities to properly deliver a training program worthy of our membership. –The current practice of utilizing existing facilities is not practical nor cost effective.

Training Facility Proposal To enhance the BRVFD & RS training program by converting the existing Rental House to a Training Facility that can be utilized for classroom instruction, practical evolutions and office space.

Needed Repairs / Remodeling Inside Walls –Remove wall coverings throughout –Remove wall between Bedroom 1 and Living Room –Insulated, Drywall, Finished, Painted

Needed Repairs / Remodeling Inside Floors –Commercial Grade Tile Glued

Needed Repairs / Remodeling Inside Bathroom –Remove Tub, New Toilet, Urinal

Needed Repairs / Remodeling Inside Kitchen –New sink, counter top, and 2 new wall cabinets –Hot water heater

Needed Logistics 25 classroom chairs Projector screen 6 folding tables Lighting –Install 3’x4’ fluorescent lights in classroom area

Remove trees and shrubs Remove fence between station and training facility Install sidewalk between station parking lot and training facility Install 30’ x 30’ x 6” concrete pad for extrication drills. Needed Repairs / Remodeling Outside

Cost / Budget Request Various rough estimates indicate that approximately $20,000.oo is needed to complete this project. Work would begin immediately upon approval and required bid submissions. Some work would be done in-house.
