5 © Ascension Health System Office Advocacy and Access Department, August 2009 Ascension Health Events Around the Nation From July to September 2009: –Health Ministries are planning, or have executed and/or participated in, 42 events around the nation –24 events are being planned or were executed as 100% Campaign signature events, led by Health Ministry leaders around the nation –10 events raise our positive voice through our participation in forums and on panels and high-level roundtables –Policymakers and Health Ministry leaders will engage in eight high-level policy meetings over the course of the August recess
