19 Youth Delegate Selection Event related reps criteria: Outstanding youth del the year before Prior approval by MO before they are approached Youth delegate criteria: Age, Language Expert on topic, running a related Guiding project Region/country of origin Self/external funded Previous experience and involvement Commitment to engage in preparation and follow-up Endorsement by MO

20 MO and offsite involvement - Host MO can be strongly involved (varying degrees of commitment so far) - Members join related campaigns, surveys, research running up to events - Calls to action – usually 1 big one - Information on event available on line, Our World, etc - daily updates and photos - MOs with youth delegates are encouraged to support them with their preparation and follow-up projects, engage in media outreach, use youth dels for national board, projects and programmes, etc.
