3 Revelation 3:5 “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.” The Will To Overcome

4 It is obvious from this passage: We must overcome certain things to be able to go to heaven. Overcome-Verb- “To succeed in dealing with in any problem.” The problem is the devil and his goal. What must we overcome? The Will To Overcome

5 I. Cares, riches & pleasure of this life Worry, riches, stress, physical problems and the certainty of death are cares that we must overcome. Many allow these cares to choke their spirituality. The Will To Overcome

6 I.Cares, riches & pleasure of this life We should be determined to make the most of our circumstances. We need to realize that we are going to a far better place than this life will ever afford. If we simply overcome! The Will To Overcome

7 I. Cares, riches & pleasures of this life Riches are overcome by us not allowing ourselves to become covetous. Luke 12:15 “And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.” The Will To Overcome

8 I. Cares, riches & pleasures of this life Pleasures are overcome by us keeping our priorities right or in order. I Timothy 5:6 “But she who lives in pleasure is dead while she lives.” The Will To Overcome

25 The will to overcome is only in Jesus. I Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” At the day of judgment there will be winners and losers. WHERE WILL YOU BE? The Will To Overcome
