 VOLUME- The measurement of the amount or space inside a plain shape. Units always cubic which is the number of cube that fits inside the shape.  The formula for volume =l times h times w  L=length h=height w=width

 Explain how to solve this problem. STEPS STEPS 1.Look at what's the formula for volume. 2. First multiply length and width.[11 times 3] 3. Then multiply the answer[33] with the height.[7] 4. Finally write down the answer with cm3. [231cm3]

 Volume can be used in a real life problem because maybe someone wants to fill in a box of theirs with mini cubes of a game. They would have to find out how much space is in the box. Then they would also have to find out how much room each game cube would fill up in the box. Finally they would find the VOLUME of the box and game cube. Then they would solve their problem of how much game cubes they can fit in the box.
