Aim: How did imperialism and mercantilism impact the English colonies? Copy Vocabulary Mercantilism- Economic theory that a nation’s strength came from building up its gold supplies and expanding its trade by exporting more than it imports. Imperialism/Colonialism - a stronger country, a.k.a., and “mother country” conquers and rules a weaker country, politically, economically, and socially.
