Yosemite National Park  one of the first wilderness parks in the United States,  is best- known for its waterfalls, its nearly 1,200 square miles,  you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient gigant sequoias, a wilderness area, and much more.  The park covers an area of 761,268 hectares (3, km2), stretching across the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. More than 3.7 million people visit Yosemite each year:

Grand Canyon  A powerful and inspiring landscape,  the Grand Canyon breattaking view took our senses and through and of course its unbelievable size; 277 river miles (446km) long, up to 18 miles (29km) wide, and a mile (1.6km) deep.

You might be under the impression, that the Grand Canyon Skywalk is close to Grand Canyon Village, inside the Nationalpark

Sequoia national park  This landscape testifies to nature's size, beauty, and diversity – huge mountains, rugged foothills, deep canyons, vast caverns, and  the world's largest trees!!  Visitor activities by season and elevation are really high (1,370' to 14,494').

 it's seems that a giant sequoia never stops growing. They can live for a little over 3000 years and have a diameter (at the base) of up to 36.5 feet. If a tree survives fires and other hazards to reach a massive size, the typical cause of death is falling over from its own weight, much like the Lakers did in the finals recently. As can be seen below, its roots don't run very deep. They dig in a mere three feet.

Death Valley National Park: A Land of Extremes  Hottest, Driest, Lowest: A superlative desert of streaming sund dunes,  snow-capped mountains,  multicoloured rock layers,  water-fluted canyons and 3 million acres of wilderness.  Home to the Timbisha Shoshone people and to plants and animals unique to the harshest and hardest desert.

 It is one of the hottest places on the surface of the Earth with summer temperatures averaging well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. At 282 feet below the level of the sea, it is the driest place in North America with an average rainfall of only 1.96 inches a year.

 This valley is also a land of subtle beauties:  This valley is also a land of subtle beauties: Death Valley is a land of extremes, and much more the setting sun and lengthening shadows on the Sand Dunes at Stovepipe Wells, and the colors of myriad wildflowers on the golden hills above Harmony Borax on a warm spring day. Death Valley is a treasure trove of scientific information about the ancient Earth and about the forces still working to shape our modern world.. It is a story of western expansion, wealth, greed, suffering and triumph.

Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve! Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve!  The marine wilderness of Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve includes wilderness  tidewater glaciers, glaciers  snow-capped mountain ranges, ocean  snow-capped mountain ranges, ocean  coastlines, coastlines  deep fjords, and freshwater rivers and lakes.  This diverse land and seascape host a mosaic of plant communities and a variety of marine and terrestrial wildlife  This diverse land and seascape host a mosaic of plant communities and a variety of marine and terrestrial wildlife plantwildlifeplantwildlife  presents many opportunities for adventuring and learning about this unique and powerful place. adventuringlearning adventuringlearning

 Northeast boundary line between Canada and the USA are five lakesOntario, Erie, Huron, Michigan and the Upper Lake. Together they constitute the largest reservoir of fresh water in the world. Worldattention particularly drawn to two of them, Lake Ontario and Erie. The result of the large difference between the levels of these water bodies are beautiful Niagara Falls
