20 S EQUOIA NATIONAL PARK Located in the southern Sierra Nevada Spans 1,635 km2 Famous for its giant Sequoia trees, including the General Sherman tree, the largest tree on Earth First home to Monachee, Native Americans Home to over 240 known caves and more The caves include California's longest cave at over 32 km, Lilburn Cave

21 C RATER L AKE Located in southern Oregon Encompasses the Crater Lake caldera, which rests in the remains of a destroyed volcano and the surrounding forestland and hills The deepest lake in the U.S. (594 m)
