Calories In A Doughnut By: Sultan Al Essa

The original formula of calories Calories=Kilometers × Kilograms × C = D × W × If I want to count how many kilometers I need to run to burn a certain amount of calories I have to divide both side of the equation by ( W × 1.036) C ÷ ( W × 1.036) = D

How many calories are in a glazed doughnut? There are 200 calories in a 1.8 oz (ounce) glazed doughnut. Example :If your weight is 65kg C ÷ ( W × 1.036) = D D = C ÷ ( W × 1.036) kilometers = calories/(kilogramsx1.036) distance = 200/(65x1.036) ≈2.97km So you burn the 200 calories ( 1 doughnut ) by running approximately 2.97 kilometers.

How could someone figure out the numbers of calories he burnt while running? If in a constant speed: You could count how much calories are burnt in a minute, then count the time you ran in, next you multiply the number of calories burnt with the number of minutes you ran.

If in different speeds: Calories= kilometers × kilograms × So you figure how much kilometers you ran than make this calculation to get how many calories you lost Example: if you ran for 5 km and your weight is 40 kg you would do this calculation: Calories= distance × weight × Calories= 5 × 40 × = 207.2

Calories Vs Distance for Same Person with constant speed calories = distance × weight × = 1 Km. × 36 Kg. × ≈ 37.3 = 2 Km. × 36 Kg. × ≈ 74.6 = 3 Km. × 36 Kg. × ≈ = 4 Km. × 36 Kg. × ≈ = 5 Km. × 36 Kg. × ≈ 186.5

Distance Calories

Calories Vs Weight for Different People with constant speed Calories = distance × weight × = 1 × 36 × ≈ 37.3 = 1 × 46 × ≈ 47.7 = 1 × 56 × ≈ 58 = 1 × 66 × ≈ 68.4 = 1 × 76 × ≈ 78.7

Weight Calories

How can knowing how to do arithmetic with decimals help you to make good food decisions? Arithmetic is a way of doing math. The Greeks invented it. Knowing arithmetic can help you organize and plan the meals and snacks you would eat every day by knowing how many calories are in every meal and knowing how many calories in every component in the meal and snack, and you should know how many calorie he or she needs. For Example: If you need 2000 calories and each meal is 500 calories so you need to organize your self and see how will you divide 2000 calories 4 times a day.

What learner profile I learnt in this unit? In this unit the learner profile I learnt to be is Open-Minded because it taught me to think before eating and to think before doing anything, because maybe then my weight would increase a lot, or thinking before doing anything because maybe I don’t and then I do something bad after that I would need to take the consequences.
