 Lesson Outline 1. Review Classroom Expectations (2 Mins). 2. Reflect on previous week’s goal setting. Remind students that a little bit of progress each week is beneficial – Nemo – “Just Keep Swimming” (3-5 Mins). 3. One way to achieve your goals is to use memory techniques. Discuss different techniques like: brainstorming, mnemonics (PEMDAS, order of operations, Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally), note cards, graphic organizers, songs/cheers/chants, pictures, games, repetition. 4. Set new goals (3-5 Mins). 5. Ask the stuents what they think manners means and with a partner write down their thoughts (3 Mins). SSS Lesson Four

 Lesson Outline 6. Discuss their ideas on manners and create a chart. Looking for: please, thank you, excuse me, pardon me/please when cannot hear someone, you’re welcome, good morning/afternoon/evening, and taking turns (5-7 Mins). 7. Watch Ned and Nellie video clip: Manners (3 Mins). Manners 8. Watch “Can You Teach my Alligator Manners?”Can You Can YouCan You Teach my Alligator Manners?Teach my Alligator Manners?
