BELL RINGER 5 MINUTES Do I have a plan for improving my ACT score why or why not? And if so what is it?

AIM Reflect on personal growth over time Analyze scores to identify strengths and areas of growth Set achievable goals and benchmarks

CHAMPS C=conversation, you may speak during class share out and when directed to speak with your peers *REMINDER WE PRACTICE RESPECT! H=help, please raise your hand A=activity, you are sharing out and responding to the text. M=movement we are not, all supplies will be given to you P=participation, you are listening and responding to your peers, NO heads down, cell phones and/or eating

MY EXPERT PLAN REVIEW 10 MINUTES Review how I’m I changing my mindset to a growth mindset and how does this relate to the ACT? In Directions my expert plan 2, yes we have done this but now we are in a different place and space be REFLECTIVE

GROWTH OVER TIME 12 MINUTES Being reflective write down three ways that you have changed in a positive way since the beginning of the school year. Being REFLECTIVE is part of a growth mindset Share Out: What areas have stayed the same since the beginning of the school year? By comparing these plan, how can you tell you have changed over the past semester? How would you describe the change? Did Appling growth mindset to your plan, make a difference for you in terms of how you felt about improving your ACT performance? What are your next steps after uncovering this information?

HOW AM I DOING? 15 MINUTES Read the ACT scorecard Look at your pre-ACT scores again and answer the questions according to your scores, you can also use the selectivity chart on the LCD projector.

EXIT TICKET 8 MINUTES Use the images in front of you that represent how you understand the connection between goal setting and improvement. Now write a sentence explain this idea.
