Today’s topic…  Times of Economic Crisis in Aviation: Can the Airline companies afford environmental related investments?  The short answer from SAS is: Yes.  SAS have set ambitious environmental goals. They are all set to reduce emissions, costs and mitigate future risks.

SAS´environmental goals The environmental goal up to 2015 will lay the basis for ensuring that SAS operations will be sustainable in the long-term. We continuously renew our fleet As of Q Scandinavian Airlines plan to operate 79 % current generation short haul aircraft. By Q Scandinavian Airlines plan to operate 100% current generation short haul aircraft. And will be among the first airlines to introduce Airbus 320neo in 2016.
