Presentation transcript:

 The cell membrane is located in both plant and animal cells  The cell membrane controls the movement of substances into and out of the cell  The cell membrane is like the doors and outskirts of the stadium

 The nucleus is in both plant and animal cells  The nucleus is the control center f the cell  The coach of the team is like the nucleus because he controls what the team does

 Both plant and animal cells contain the endoplasmic reticulum  The endoplasmic reticulum is a membrane folded system of folded sacs and interconnected channels that serve as the site for protein and lipid synthesis  It’s like the point guard of the team because the point guard distributes the ball like it distributes proteins and lipids

 Both plant and animal cells have vacuoles but the vacuoles in plant cells are larger  A vacuole stores materials such as food enzymes and water  A vacuole of a cell is like the team water bottles because they store water

 The cytoplasm is the semi fluid material inside the cells plasma membrane  Animal and plant cells have cytoplasm  The cytoplasm is like the court because it is just the material inside the stadium

 Found in both plant and animal cells  They are the organelles that help manufacture proteins  Ribosome's are like the whey protein powder they mix up

 Its found in plant and animal cells  It modifies, sorts, and packages proteins into sacs  The Golgi body is like the UPS that packages up the equipment that the team uses

 In both plant and animal cells  It is like the energy generator of the cell  Mitochondria is like the gatorade that the team drinks

 The nucleolus is found in plant and animal cells  The nucleolus is the site of ribosome production  The nucleolus is like the assistant coach because it is located inside of the nucleus
